Gold Beach is a city in and the county seat of Curry County, Oregon on the Oregon Coast. The population in 2000 was 1,897 residents.

Gold Beach is tucked into what is considered the banana belt on the Southern Oregon coast where the renowned Rogue River meets the scenic and majestic Pacific Ocean. Many visitors enjoy the magnificent surroundings of the Oregon Coast Trail. The trail is located just a  minutes  from Gold Beach. Portions of the local trail frequently meet with Highway 101 so you can plan the length of the hike you are planning to take.
