Reedsport is located on U.S. Highway 101 in the center of the Dunes recreation area, near the mouth of the Umpqua River. Winchester Bay is a small town built next to Salmon Harbor and is the center of the Oregon Coasts largest sports deep sea fishing fleet. One of the largest rivers between the Columbia River and San Francisco Bay the Umpqua ends at Salmon Bay.
